Anagrams and comedy.
Only a few close friends and I know that my original story was about a writer who wished to be read but remains in seclusion and unseen. To do this, he used a pen-name based on an anagram of his name.
The comedic part of the short story was that his friends liked the stories he wrote, but never sussed who the writer was, even though they knew their friend loved puzzles and jokes, until the end of the story when he emerged from hiding.
The name he used was P.A. Canella.
