I am left wondering if one day will telling jokes become a criminal offense?
Another post from Premier Christianity magazine got me thinking; the post was about as Christians should we be offended by religious humor?
The problem is the magazine is run and for young people who have little memory of what went on before they were here.
For over 30 years, there was an Irish comedian called Dave Allen; he made his living telling anti-Catholic jokes despite being a Catholic.
I could easily have taken offense at the big joke about people from Yorkshire that we have deep pockets and short arms, meaning we rarely pay for things, but I didn't because it's a joke.
In the late '60s, there was a colored soccer player called Charlie Williams, and he used to make fun about his color, his nickname was "Chalkie."
