I rarely mention I have worked for several charity anthology books; the reason for this is that while the books did well, contrary to popular belief having worked in an anthology did me no good.
I was asked to do a joint writing project some years ago for a friend, but the friend we were doing for had a fatal reaction to a riding accident in which she got paralyzed below the waist.
Another project that fell through was a proposed work with two friends, but when they came first and second in a contest www.alsdominion.co.uk/home/i-was-despised, and I got forced out of the top three that project got forgotten; even though for half of the competition in question I had been the leader. Another example of how people's perception of me changed as a result of a contest.
Another thing I don't mention is that I have two channels on Wordpress; the reason I don't mention them is that without starting an account you can't read them, and between them they have hardly half a dozen readers.
Wordpress may not be as good as this page because you need to create an account to read my posts hereiamattheedgeblogspotcouk.wordpress.com/2018/12/05/all-i-want-for-christmas/, but it is far superior to Facebook for readers for my posts.
